From Seattle to Washington DC to Chicago, #ZLive Unites the Twitterverse

For three consecutive weekends, menswear designer George Zaharoff & I brought our #ZLive party across the nation at select Nordstrom locations. Wanting to meet those who we had been communicating with for the past year or two, we knew #ZLive was the perfect idea to finally placing faces to the many names that have shown up in correspondence. We also spotlighted the Zaharoff Fall/Winter 2011 collection, which is a composition of excellence. Heavily emphasizing the use of Twitter, many around the world were virtually united for the tweet-ups as they joined us from afar.

Our starting point had been the West Coast. Destination: Seattle. Then on the East Coast in Washington DC, George launched his new womenswear line /zed/ + I celebrated fashion + class & jet lag‘s first birthday. Wrapping up in Chicago, we finished with great fanfare. Thank you to our co-hosts Ann, Debra & Trasi as well as everyone else who came to make #ZLive memorable. Most importantly, thank you to everyone around the world who helped lift the excitement even more. It couldn’t have been possible without you all. | Giuseppe

Swooping into Seattle…

We tweeted, made new friends & talked about fashion & travel…

George showed us his Fall/Winter 2011 collection…

And as the world turned…

We boarded trains + off we went to Washington, DC…

And there, in our nation’s capital…

Again, we laughed & made new friends…

People came from afar to say hello & we posed for pictures…

We sampled the sweet success of new ideas, places & faces…

George educated us on Italian cashmere + French bouclé…

We wished everyone could’ve joined us that evening…

I had a great time with everyone…

Flying off to Chicago, George & I brought #ZLive to Michigan Avenue…

We talked about business, travels & Paris Fashion Week…

And throughout all 3 cities, Hartmann showed up. Free belting leather card cases for those who came…

…and alas, #ZLive is over. For now.
